Position Summary
The Inside Sales Representative will play a crucial role in driving revenue growth and enhancing customer satisfaction. This position is responsible for managing incoming customer orders, providing exceptional customer service, and maximizing sales opportunities through strong product knowledge and error resolution. The ideal candidate is a proactive communicator with a passion for sales and customer service.
Essential Functions

Manage and process customer orders through ERP with accuracy and efficiency.

Maintain a deep understanding of product offerings to effectively assist customers with questions and concerns with the ability to solve issues.

Identify opportunities to upsell and cross-sell additional products to meet customer needs and enhance their experience.

Achievement of weekly and quarterly sales targets for upselling, cross-selling, customer satisfaction ratings, and accuracy of order processing.

Plan and optimize delivery routes in collaboration with fulfillment and delivery teams to ensure timely and efficient order completion.

Establish rapport and working relationships with the Director of Sales and Marketing, Outside Sales Representatives, Product Fufillment Team, Accounting and Delivery Drivers.

Understand and communicate effective sales strategies in collaboration with the team, incorporating customer insights and operational logistics.

Attend weekly sales meetings to identify, discuss, and resolve any issues, including those related to order fulfillment and delivery logistics.

Maintains CRM with valuable customer information and updates to aid in sales and support.

Proactively monitor and address customer satisfaction, ensuring timely responses to inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and consistently aiming to exceed customer expectations.

Position Qualifications:

Proven experience in sales, customer service, or a related field.

Ability to learn and maintain knowledge of Big O’ Smokehouse specific applications and products.

Highly motivated self-starter with a focus on details and accuracy in a fast-paced environment.

Must have excellent written, verbal, organizational, and communication skills.

Ability to problem solve and develop solutions to balance customer needs and business standards.

Proficient in CRM software and Google Workspace.

Must have the ability to multi-task, prioritize, and work independently with a remote team.

Must have good customer service and time management skills.
