SUMMARY:Caledonia Fire Department Open House
DESCRIPTION:The Caledonia Fire Department and the Caledonia Public Safety Advisory Committee (PSAC) would like to invite the public to an open house at the fire station on Saturday\, Oct. 12 from 10AM - 2PM.\n\n\n\nAll of the fire trucks will be open and available for all to sit in and look around along with ambulance and police vehicles. There will be plenty of free fall goodies to eat and drink including donuts\, cider and hot dogs. \n\n\n\nAeromed is slated to make an appearance (weather dependent) as well as tactical vehicles from Kent County Sheriff Department and Michigan State Police. Gerald R Ford Airport Fire Department truck will be there as well as Life Ambulance. \n\n\n\nThere will be a scavenger hunt sponsored by the firefighters with prizes\, Kiwanis Club will host a fun kids activity\, KDL will be there to entertain the kids and a bounce house will be on site sponsored by State Farm. A demonstration of the Jaws of Life is planned as well. \n\n\n\nThe community can see the largest training house in the area which is a 1400 square foot house inside the fire department. Come support your public safety men and women who help keep you safe and have a fun family outing at the same time.
